Who we are

Money Me is operated by Gatavase Corporation, Plot 68, Muyenga-Bukasa, Kampala, Uganda. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

Data we collect

Account details (name, email, phone, country), verification documents (ID or passport and proof of address), payment instrument details such as the provider and last four digits of a card, mobile money numbers, transaction records and technical data such as IP address and device information.

Why we use it

To open and operate your wallet, execute transfers, meet anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer obligations, prevent fraud, provide support and send the transaction alerts you have enabled.

Sharing

We share only what is necessary with payout partners, payment processors, identity verification providers and regulators. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Transaction and verification records are kept for the period required by financial regulation, typically seven years after your last activity.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, and you may withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Write to mm@gatavase.com.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, credentials are hashed and access is restricted to staff who need it for their role.
